Home Communion & Pastoral Visitor-2009 Annual Report
The Home Communion Ministry continued at St. Mary's for the sixth year. The parishioners visited were seniors who
either temporarily or permanently were unable to come to church. Although communion was offered, often a visit was
what was requested. There is a particular need to feel connected to their church community. This ministry was conducted
as usual from January to July 2009. It is a very rewarding ministry and there is an increasing need for this type of service.
Due to personal circumstances it was necessry for me to take a leave from this ministry for an indefinite time.
I also have taken a leave from the Diocesan Spirtual Care Team.
