Lay Ministry of Pastoral Care
Weekly visits were made to 7 shut-in people. Communion was offered when desired. Hospitals and nursing homes were included. Prayers were said for the sick. The most important issue for most of the people was to have a contact with a member of their church.
Three people from the group passed away during 2009. Three new people became part of the group. Lloyd and I found our visits much appreciated and the work very fulfilling. It was an honor to serve the Lord in this ministry.
