PARISH LIFE NOTES.

We are back! Masking is encouraged but is the choice of each individual, and all will be respected. Everyone is welcome and invited to participate in whatever way they feel is best.

Morning Prayer is happening Tuesdays to Fridays at 8:30 am, and Evening Prayer is happening on Wednesdays at 5:30 pm.

Community Kitchen will begin again on Saturday, March 26th.  We will support and prepare meals with participants from 9 to 12 noon.   We kindly request volunteers who are fully vaccinated.  Please contact Clara. Thank you!

Vestry met on March 1, 2022 for the February vestry meeting because we were unable to meet because of scheduling conflicts.  This meeting was very fruitful as the vestry members are aware that, because of the pandemic, we have had limited opportunities to gather as a community.  We are beginning to “re-enter” our communal life and worship cautiously optimistic about our future.

Through discussions, the Vestry has identified 4 ministry areas that are critical as we reconnect with each other.  They are as follows:  Youth Ministry/Faith Quest, Stewardship, Hospitality and Discipleship.  All these ministries are equally important within the life of this Christian community, St. Mary’s Anglican Church. Rev. Paula is waiting to hear from all of you, if you feel you can help with any of our ministries.

The Lenten issue of the Grapevine will be available on Palm Sunday April the 10. Many people have told us that they were encouraged and blessed by the stories in the last two issues. We hope for more stories and more blessings in this one. The deadline for submissions is April 05. Please send them to Lorna, or to stmarysanglican@sasktel.net
